Job Description

Join our team! We are looking for a Project Engineer to support our growing market activities.

Role Description
  • You design coating systems for web-shaped substrates (textiles, foils, paper)

  • You take over projects acquired by sales and work them out technically

  • You prepare project drawings (AutoCAD), proposal texts (Word), and cost calculations (Excel)

  • You design and select system components

  • You purchase components and act as the single point of contact for suppliers

  • You ensure proper integration of purchased components

  • You clarify specifications during the project phase

  • You plan projects from order entry to final acceptance and commissioning

  • You are responsible for the technical accuracy of order confirmations

  • You provide information for design after order acceptance

  • You create documents for project execution (layouts, P&ID, site and installation planning with MS Project)

  • You coordinate projects in close collaboration with sales, process engineering, design, electrical and control engineering, purchasing, and assembly

Skill Requirements
  • You hold a degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a comparable qualification

  • You understand process engineering workflows

  • You have basic knowledge in plant engineering

  • You are skilled in CAD (3D CAD required; Inventor and AutoCAD preferred)

  • You are willing to travel nationally and internationally

  • You are flexible, resilient, and a strong team player

  • You have good English skills, both written and spoken
